Leah Nurik is the Founder and CEO of Gabriel Marketing Group (GMG). Since launching GMG in 2011, she has led the agency to consistent year-over-year growth, helping more than 300 clients—from early-stage startups to public enterprises—accelerate adoption, increase visibility, and achieve over 25 successful acquisitions. A strategic communications expert with 20+ years in the tech industry, Nurik previously held senior roles at public and private SaaS, software, and hardware companies.
Under Nurik’s leadership, GMG has earned more than 100 industry awards and built a reputation for delivering purpose-driven results. She has been recognized as one of PR News’ “One to Watch,” a DC Inno “50 on Fire” leader, and a SmartCEO BRAVA Award winner. A frequent speaker on entrepreneurship, innovation, and PR strategy, Nurik holds a philosophy degree from St. Anselm College and has completed coursework at Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, and universities in Spain.
Michiko (Michi) Murakami Morales is Senior Vice President of Public Relations at Gabriel Marketing Group, where she leads strategic communications and media relations programs for clients. With over 20 years of experience, she has secured top-tier coverage in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, TIME, The Washington Post, CNN, and CNBC—strengthening brand authority and visibility on a global scale.
Morales has held senior roles at leading agencies including Global Communicators, Stanton Communications, and The Martin Agency/SLAY Public Relations, where she specialized in integrated campaigns and executive visibility. Before joining GMG, she ran her own consultancy, advising high-tech clients on PR strategy, marketing communications, and media outreach. A recognized expert in public relations strategy, Morales holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Central Washington University.
Michael Tebo is Vice President of Public Relations, Strategy, and Content at Gabriel Marketing Group, where he leads media relations strategy, strategic messaging and content development for clients. With over 25 years of experience, he has secured top-tier coverage in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, WIRED, and on NBC, ABC, NPR, and more. Known for his ability to elevate brand visibility and manage complex issues, he has guided clients through high-profile crises involving cybersecurity, product safety, and infrastructure threats.
Before joining GMG, Tebo led the Washington, D.C. corporate affairs office for American Honda Motor Company and was an account director at WE Communications. He also held senior communications roles at Georgetown University Medical Center and Resources for the Future, a leading environmental think tank. Tebo holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University and a master’s degree in public relations from Boston University.
