When I mentally process Gabriel Marketing Group’s inclusion in the Washington Business Journal’s 2017 “Best Places to Work,” I am, quite honestly, humbled. We have strived to build a mission-focused business that creates opportunities for disruptive tech companies to make an impact around the world. In our pursuit of that mission, we have held to our core belief that when you do what you love with integrity and respect for each individual, both happiness and success are the natural result. Our recognition by WBJ, driven by surveys of our team members, makes me think we are delivering on those core values.

When you have and want A-plus players, fostering a work culture that breeds creativity while promoting individual respect and inclusion is as much of a priority as providing high-quality services to our clients. We have always focused on promoting a positive, respectful and inclusive environment that promotes integrity, honesty and an achievable work/life balance.

We offer an array of benefits and resources designed to support our employees. Going beyond an open-door policy by management, GMG provides free in-office yoga, paid lunches, gym access, remote work options, resources to attend conferences and learning seminars, team social events, 100-percent paid insurance (medical, dental and vision) and more. We have built a team of high-performing employees who go the extra mile every day to deliver results that help our clients achieve their unique goals – from successful exits to hockey stick customer acquisition.  And, in short, they are also fantastic human beings. And great human beings do incredible things for clients and each other, supporting one another and celebrating one another’s successes. As we grow, our go-to-market focus may broaden, but we will always strive to remain the best at what we do while fostering a culture of decency and respect.

The “Best Places to Work” list recognizes companies that excel in fostering an enjoyable and meaningful work environment for their employees. Based on the results of an employee survey, the list of “Best Places to Work” honorees were judged on several critical factors, including: trust in leadership, employee alignment with company goals, communication and resources, team dynamics and personal engagement.
